Uber is different from a taxi or cab as it does not require you to go and search for the vehicle yourself. Instead, the vehicle you have chosen is going to come to you and pick you up. With the help of your phone's GPS, this taxi app will determine your location and then ask you to confirm the spot from where you want your driver to pick you up. You can use the map to specify your location and then hit the Confirm Pickup button located on the bottom of the screen.

After you pickup spot has been verified, Uber will provide you a list of the cars that are near you and can reach you quickly. You will be given details of the driver and the car, along with the driver's photograph. Moreover, you can track his progress on your phone's GPS all the while. A phone number of the driver is also provided that can be used to communicate with him. After the ride, you will get a receipt from Uber and you will be given the chance to rate the services provided by the driver.
